Wow. Talk about a party! I heard Cristina was going to be an amazing, fun bride and she certainly met my expectations. (It turns out my sister and Cristina work together which I found out a few weeks before the wedding) As soon as I arrived at the hotel I started hearing stories about crazy Karaoke the night before. Anyway - those who know her know what I'm talking about - back to the day. Jim and I arrived at the hotel and started shooting some of the details and next thing I knew Cristina was getting her final touches done wearing her wedding shoes already! (I guess someone was excited) I loved the shot hence the reason it's on the blog! From there we headed off to Monmouth University where Mark and Cristina met for the first time on the steps where part of the movie "Little Orphan Annie" was filmed. Even though they had a GIGANTIC bridal party, I have to say that we got some of my favorite bridal party shots ever! We walked around for awhile and took photos here and there until we headed off to the ceremony / reception. The highlight of the night (besides them getting married) and I'm SO SORRY I didn't post it on the blog - was when some of the Guests changed the Marquee Sign outside which originally read "Congratulations Mark and Cristina" to "Something a bit more interesting" -Make sure you ask Cristina and Mark about it, because it just proved how awesome of a couple they were! And of course right after it was changed the first thing Cristina did was run up to me and say "DREW! YOU HAVE TO TAKE A SHOT OF IT!" and so we did an entire little photoshoot with the "creative" sign that was outside! Congrats you two!
