November 11, 2011Filomena LakeView
Got to admit I was really looking forward to Denise & Dave's wedding for some time. Denise and I have been friends for some time and I was both honored and excited to capture her & David's day. Another reason was they gave me so much time to do what I love most. Taking our time with the pics. We met at Denise & Dave's home for some prep shots where we were greeted by 2 of the cutest kids in a bridal party ever. After getting ready we headed for The Broadway Theater that Denise had rented out for her pictures. We had a great time taking over the theater. And although it was cold outside we were still able to take some outside shots as well. After the ceremony we headed over to Filomena Lakeview for a cozy intimate dinner. I also want to thank Denise & Dave for their special donation. In lieu of gifts for guests Denise & Dave made a special donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation to help cure this disease which my daughter has. They also made a donation to a local animal shelter. Thank you both so much. It really meant a lot when I saw that at the gift table!!
Here are some of my favorites from the day.
Denise and her sister Elaine getting ready for the day.
As a Devil fan I was able to put my dislike for the Flyers aside and rise above it all and still photograph their day. :)
Nice detail of Dave getting ready.
Denise heading down to meet Dave for the first time.
WOW!!! Denise was absolutely beautiful.
Denise made her bouquet herself. It was really different. The only drawback I can say is that it was really heavy!!
Loved this shot of Dave and his best friend.
The ring bearer Elijah.
The flower girl Riese.
Love the next 2 shots. One of the reason I love what I do so much is always being in a different place and situation and having to make images like this.
The bridal party in the theater.
Just a cool detail shot I really liked.
My fav. of the day! Really love this image.
You can't tell it's like 20 degrees. Thanks for putting up with me Dave!!
One more outside. See guys, I'd say it was worth a few minutes of cold!! :)
